Not sure how reliable the source is but according to this paper, Dani Olmo is the object of negotiations of a return and Dinamo Zagreb wants 25 Million for him with Real Madrid also being interested in him.
Those papers are from Croatia.
And Croatian papers were known for being corrupted and helping to Dinamo and their owner Mamic.
Often in the past, Mamic and his papers would be posting fake stories to hype the price.
Basically, if Barca is really following Olmo, his papers will write that Real, Man Utd and Roma are after him and willing to pay 30M.
None of that is true, but eventually, an interested club will pay 15-20M and that will be a win-win.
Mamic has sold a player whom other big clubs didn't follow, and a a buyer will think that they have bought a gem for a reduced price of 15-20M, since the first fee was around 30M.
So, there is probably some interest by Barca regarding Olmo.
But Dinamo and Croatain papers will hype a story and lie to raise his price.
Offtopic, all latest Dinamo's sales were frauds to some extent.
Ante Coric, midfielder hyped here by some users, sold to Roma fro 6M Euros, almost 22 aged, played 1 match this season for Roma. A total fraud.
Midfielder Rog, sold to Napoli for 13M, played 48 matches over 3 seasons.
Winger Pjaca, sold for 25M pre Neymar's inflation, failed at Juventus, suffered a knee injury and after that he was loaned to Schalke, Fiorentina and now will be loaned again. He looked like a real deal in a Croatian league.
Halilovic to Barcelona. You know the story.
The only offensive player lately sold by Dinamo who wasn't a fraud was midfielder Brozovic who plays for Inter.
Olmo did play well in Europa league this season, but again, Dinamo is known to build a team around one player to make him look like a gem until he is sold and player's skills look way better than they actually are, and his flaws are masked. (The same as how Atletico's players look like warriors and beasts in their team, but usually suck in other clubs).
So, it is really hard to tell how good is Olmo and how much Mamic's papers are lying regarding price and regarding interest by other big clubs, as always.
There is a legal process currently about Mamic in Croatia and whether he will go to prison, but still, he has 100s of his guys and friends still running a club (Dinamo) and papers, so it is hard to believe them.
