Good stuff.

Not really an AM, not really a winger, not really a striker, and not good enough to start for a top team being the kind of weird hybrid player he is.

Would have been a poor man's version of Joao Felix at Barca.
Dawg this just means we're going to buy him for 60m later

Seems like he's improved a lot. Do we still not want him?
I'd take him, but don't think he's a 60m player, just like Raphinha. There are many circumstances that don't fall in place, for example Leeds getting relegated and Raphinha's clause kicking in at less than half of what we paid, or Olmo renewing a year before his contract was about to run out.

In the span of 2 years we could've gotten Raphinha + Olmo for combined 25m. It doesn't sound as enticing with Raphinha + Olmo for 120m.

BILD claiming Olmo is moving to Barca next summer for 60m.

At least that is what Barca tweeters claiming they are saying..

International break rumours time. I give it a week (probably less if he plays well for Spain) until the Nico rumour gets regurgitated.

On the subject of Olmo. Yes, excellent for our system. Provides the attacking/defensive balance for that hybrid 4th midfielder slash left sided forward role that Gavi and Joao do not.

Unlikely Nico is free.

Going by reports he will renew.

Fati they will try to sell. As it stands wont be easy or get much for him.

Think Nico renews with a low(ish) BO clause. Something like Dembele (without the 50% agent income) and Olmo himself done recently when renewing.

Would be lovely to get him on a free though given our financial constraints. And by constraints, I mean by how much harder it is for us to register a transfer fee even if it amortizes for less than a free signing.

50m has been rumoured for Nico but even that probably takes him away from Barca.

I dont think a signing is any harder if it amortises for less than a free signing though. Not sure how that could be the case.

We're on 1/2 for FFP right now and 1/4 previous So for every 10m we pay we need to free up 20m.

Inigo is on 9m or so a year over 3 years so what that amortize too?

Or Gundagon at almost 20m year.

For sure more than Vitor Roque who we couldn't bring in, who is going to amortize at 4m a year because of the transfer fee involved.

It is the same whether spending on salary or amortised fee though.

Why would it be different?

If Inigo is 9m wages and Roque was 9m with amortized fee and salary combined it is the same cost on books in relation to FFP.

Roque will be more than 4m a year though. That may be his salary but his fee on top will be around 7m so in total closer to 10m for a full season. It may be they try and free up half that if he comes for only half a season though.
