The lad's head must drop himself. He has talent but he can't get into a sustained groove and period of showing it on the pitch because it's stop start with the injuries.

He's in the same boat as Luke Shaw and Mason Mount at Man United right now. Just can't stay (or in their cases) get fit.

It's frustrating because I do rate him and wanna see him do well.

Get him to the summer and a full rest with a rest and a structured pre season.

Try whatever plan they have had with Pedri or similarly suited.

Pedri and Dembele have seemingly got past their persistent injuries. Next up Olmo.

I guess the training team secret Pedri sauce isn't working with him or maybe its not only the sauce and pedri is just growing out of his injury phase.

Who knows, but we are a much better team with him, so lets hope he's back soon.

Olmo had played 108 minutes across the two NLs games. Not that much and had only played 67 minutes v Atletico prior.

Would guess Flick didnt want to go without all or Raph, Lewa and Olmo and he would have rested next game.

Fermin we know can cover. Pablo Torre is ok in that role too.

He'll probably play gavi though and that's not his optimal position.

3 weeks off, then have to ease him in meaning another week or two at half intensity, almost the whole season at this point.

Sorry but if this continues next season this has been a waste of money.
