2006 - It was Italy 1-0 Australia from the Round 2 you are referring to. They had no problem to get past the group stage.
2002 - Brazil struggled against a Turkey that eventually finished 3rd and had to struggle again in the SF to get passed them.

The only explanation for that Brazil's penalty is that Lovren farted in the penalty box and Fred lost consciousness due to the sharp smell.
Brazil are never going to win the world cup with this team, well, unless they get a penalty for every brazilian girl that is naked in the stands.

The world cup started in good fashion, at least the stadium did not collapse and I believe that all stadiums will be ready for the world cup ..... well, for that one in 2018.

Croatia did well, deserved to share the point with Brazil. I don't understand why Kovac is not playing a defensive midfielder, with Modric, Rakitic and Kovacic struggling in their defensive duties.
