B has spain, netherlands and chile. Its a pretty hard one too. Group g doesnt look as bad as b and d.

Not impossible, but extremely difficult. USA needs to beat Ghana and tie one of the other 2 to have a shot. I think USA can frustrate Portugal into a draw. It'll be difficult and extremely unlikely, but it can happen.

Portugal is among the weakest teams to qualify from Europe. If the US can't beat out Ghana and Portugal, then it does not deserve to move on. B, D and maybe E are likely to qualify two solid contenders, the other groups will supply one each.
