IMO two good players are not enough for a team like Chile to have serious chances against the Netherlands. Though you never know with the dutch... Either they show up as furious tornado or as faint breeze. Though on paper, Spain and Netherlands should qualify easily.
Similar can be said for group G. Germany is the winner of the group, with Portugal being the very likely second. The US might possibly win over Ghana, but that's that. Don't want to crush you guys' euphoria, but unless Ronaldo, Nani etc. appear completely wasted for the match, there is no way in hell the US could hold them to a draw or even overcome them.
That's why I was so curious about the group of death remarks.
IMO the group with Italy, England and Uruguay is the only group of death in the traditional sense with at least one big team being likely to drop out, since here all three teams are equally lilkely to qualify, with Italy being the fav by a small margin though. Group C is interesting as well, since you have 4 (!) teams of similar quality. This is the actual group of death IMO.
