We don’t know if he’s not on good terms with board. Is pure speculation. According to Jams are looking to keep him.

I have only ever seen Frenkie criticise the media for repeatedly making up lies. Never seen him like that.
The media are puppets of the board anyways. And our board is known to be quite two faced.

That being said, delving into conspiracies is nice from time to time.
Who knows 50 pages down the line, I might say "Told you so".
Good feeling indeed. LOL

The board wants to keep him for a sale. It's quite obvious the club is hunting him not loving him. You only take the youtube and you see can see that at every loss Frenkie was used in the thumbnail regardless of his performance. That is a clear campaign. Then you have the stooges fom the press and the full picture is quite clear.
He should have left and that is on him, but probably believed Xavi would do wonders.
I don't think it's about money since United had the money to pay him.

People seem to approve. We had much worse nicknames for others.
....no one approves, going by the posts here. Its puerile and at best seeming like the forum dance to the tune of the press or the board without its own reasoning.
Justifying an act of childishness with past idiocy is another low for this forum.

Shouldn't be attacking Frenkie that much when it's almost entirely Barca's fault.

Laporta and Barto have both given huge contracts during their tenures. Using high salaries to convince players to join/renew at the club and then getting outraged that they don't want to give that up is a bit ridiculous.

If the people in charge of Barca don't want these "leeches" there, they should stop trying to attract players with big wages and accept that plenty of them will choose to go elsewhere than take less money at Barca.

Frenkie did not have 'big wages' at Ajax. Bartomeu made him a big earner for no reason whatsoever.
Laporta's hands were tied with De Fraud because the criminal had renewed him with even bigger wages just before the elections.

De Fraud's fault is that does not cooperate and is not open to any kind of solution of the many proposed.
For that alone he should sit in the stands

Are you thick on purpose? There's certainly a general feel for the wages these guys are on... Frenkie is far above that. How do you justify that? For sure not with performances or standing.
If Pedri were to sign for a new club today he would probably get more than 15 mill annual.

Nah he would get around 12, think he's on 6-8 now.

He would serve that, he's the 2nd best/most talented player at the club.

Pedri would get 15m+ if he wanted to move in Europe easily.

Thank fuck have played him deeper with a mobile AM.

Midfield will be so much better for it.

Clubs regularly chew up and spit out players, but we're supposed to be annoyed at a player who is simply sticking to his contract? Has there ever been a story of poor attitude from him? Any disrespect shown to the club? I can't think of one. Who here would go into work tomorrow (the 10% who have jobs) and sign a contract saying your pay is being halved?

"But Rory, he's a multi millionaire it's not the same!". Yes it's different, not saying he's going from comfortable income to poverty. But imagine you were on millions, don't you think you'd probably have planned years ahead what you're doing with the money, how you're going to help family, friends, maybe setup a business or two idk. Why would you throw all those plans away just because the business gave you a bigger contract than you probably should be on. Silly and naive "fans"

At least Victor plays at a high level but Joan should have done what Napoli did and not register him for the season

Let's not compare big private corporation with Barca who are fan owned and same Barca that said Fraud is one of the captains.

I have the feeling after his injury we will never see the same Frenkie again

would have loved to see Frenkie under Hansi, think he can create the best environment for him to get the best out of him like he does for Lewa now
