The problem with Frenkie is that he is one of the players that Bartomeu bough that does not know how to suffer and avoids the hard work at all costs. The sort of an amigo player. He probably likes the city, likes the fact that he plays for one of the biggest clubs in the world. But does not want to put the hard work in so that the team could succeed.

I remember few instances when he run after the ball like crazy or provided the needed intensity to physically suffocate the opposition. The Barca football of the Pep era is dead. When you could just be technically gifted and not to provide any physical presense against top teams. Now any top team needs to be physically strong just to be competitive. It is not just about technical skills anymore.

Hard to tell if he has a long-term place in the team. But I guess we will see.
