I would not start Gavi or PING PONG.

Fermin in front of Pedri and Casado is what I would go with whilst Olmo is injured .

As for bringing Pedri in to the Frenkie discussion ? BASTA YAAAAAAAA. It's irrelevant if PING PONG was slightly better than Pedders in one game when Pedri has consistently hit levels this season that PING PONG will never hit in his whole career.

All this talk for Gavi and Grankie. Both should be behind Pedri, Cassado, Olmo and Fermin.
Those bring something unique to the team, Gavi is like a roaming entity with no purpose and Frankie is out of sync with everyone else in manner of tempo, movement and passing.
Just for financial reasons though, Frankie is expendable. Even if he was on the same level as the others, his wages can't be justified with our situation.

One of the best games or halfs he has played for us for sure though. He's at his best when he doesn't dwell on the ball and uses too many touches. Some crisp passing off one or two touches to advance the ball forward and get out of trouble.

Nah he came on in multiple games and improved team lile today.. Real, Benfica etc and been best midfielder in last game and class in the 7-1 and 5-1 victories.

Anyone who thinks Casado is better than a fit FDJ.. well.. I cant speak.

The ability on the ball of Garcia and FDJ freed up Pedri.

Alaves couldnt just leave them them on it like did with Araujo and Casado. To the point they started trying to man mark FDJ but he was drifiting away from them with his movement and it freed up Pedri.
