Think this will be his last season here, an era ends...
An era of mediocracy by the (f)lying DutchmanThink this will be his last season here, an era ends...
Let him go if he wants. Playing scared because of his foot
Like you said, one of the worst but not top 3 or 5ish. Dude is not terrible, always plays just alright - even prime Rakitic was much better, actually even post-prime Rakitic was better and scored a screamer from time to time and defended better. Crazy to think we gave all those players you mentioned over 20M a yearInjured foot or no foot, he's always played scared.
Right up there with griezman, dembele, coutinho et al
As one of the worst signings
It might be time to start pushing Frenkie out of Barca already now. Tell him what's up... we're selling him next summer if he gets offers above 10M from one of the "big" clubs like Inter, United, City, Arsenal, Pool', Bayern, Milan, Juve.Everyone who is unable to give 100% or seems unmotivated should be on exit door. Includes ter Stegen too. Not to mention the wages.
Ferran is shit and earns too much too but he, at least, seems to be fighting hard.
I am curious what happens next with de Jong because Flick has options now. He probably already detected the issue with Frenkie. Will he act on it swiftly or keep giving him playing time ahead of Gavi.
We'll see
The cnut is not even doing a little gesture of good faith like lenglet did. Renew and Spreading the salary for more years. Lenglet didn't have to because he is not even wanted at barca.. dejong holds the captain armband and don't do shit to help. The entitlement of the amigos without 20% of what the amigos actually achieved wih the team.
Was it really the same? Neither of them refused to leave there were just no offers in their pay range. Neither did they wait for their contract to expire as Frenkie likely does. This Frenkie saga lasts for years, we had Lenglet and Umitit cases before and many people still don't get that you can't sell a player if he doesn't want to leave.
Nah it's because the club doesn't have balls for these situations. Napoli showed what needs to be done with Osihmen. He worked something out real quick when he realized he was going to be in the stands. Frenkie isn't a bum, he wants to play. If you tell him he won't even be in the stands next season he'll work something out real quick. If more teams start doing this, you'll start seeing less players leaving on frees. This Frenkie saga lasts for years, we had Lenglet and Umitit cases before and many people still don't get that you can't sell a player if he doesn't want to leave. Every few day you find users who write "we should/will sell Frenkie this summer", looks like some people never learn.
