This will be a disaster. For this formation to work you need the 2 CMs to be all rounders with a massive work rate off the ball. I assume Pedri and Busquets will be automatic starters. Their lack of steel and off the ball dirty work will be exposed.
In such a formation a functional midfield 2 of Gavi and Kessie would work much better but Pedri and Busi basically have to start since Xavi loves them.
Plus very dynamic and high stamina full backs needed. Like a Conte team. Who'll play RB?
My 2 cents on this
Bernardo Silva regularly runs 13Km per game so pair him with Pedri and it cannot failThis will be a disaster. the 3-4-3 made infamous by the dutch Kommander?
just to accommodate another dutch poser FDJ

Xavi / Iniesta revisited.
It would be Silva and Pedri with Busquets slightly deeper , at least for this coming seasonCan't see Xavi dropping Busquets.
Also, Pedri and Bernardo can't really play holding/deep lying mids or box to box. They are both nimble number 8s. Bernardo can't play in a double pivot. You either play him as an advanced 8 like Pep did or use him as a 10 or Roaming RW.
Similarly with Pedri, ultimately a holding player would be needed to balance it.
Jules Kounde has signed contract with Barcelona until June 2027, release clause also included worth ?1B
Easy now lads, it's a great squad we are planning yes but questions still remain on Xavi's abilities in Europe and under the bright lights/pressure. I personally still think clubs like City and Bayern will edge us by a goal or two in Europe. You don't become a CL powerhouse in just one summer.
We should keep the focus on domestic trophies for this season and do everything we can to win the doblete.
