Selling him would be ridiculous when precisely a lack of good CBs sunk is in the CL. Get a RB and you fix the defence+depth. That's all it takes.

No he didnt.

Sevilla won those competitions by defending box well and both CBs have not looked as good out of it.

When has time to come out with ball he can be ok but not even close to elite CB on ball.

Kounde is a decent player, the awkward thing is we got a better player for free who forces him into a position he doesn’t do too well in. All top teams need quality depth though as rotations, injuries and suspensions happen.
