Here's hoping he has a great season there.

It just wasn't meant to be, hope you left with no regrets along with those titles and medals you had with us. All the best Thomas.

Would Barca officially state that the buyoption were mandatory if that was the case?
A loan is quite disappointing, even though we couldn't get much for him anyway, but once again weakening our negotiation-position in future deals (demands 10-12M, will always end up agreeing to 0M.).

Anyway, he would be a good player for us if fit, but he literally never is, so a grim mistake by Zubi. I hope he gets his career back on track elsewhere, maybe permanently at Roma - I have nothing against him as a professional.

just as expected. People who believed we would sell him for a fee were clearly deluded and didnt look at our transfer history.

it has nothing to do with transfer history .. no man with a sound brain would pay a penny to sign an a player who is always injured .. the fact that roma are paying his wages for a year is a burden i'm glad they have taken from us

Roma tried to give us 4m for Adriano but we told them no.

Where is the proof that they are paying 100% of his wages?

I have no proof.. but i guess barca s offer would : pay his wages this year and take him for free. Much realistic than those laughable reports of those ridiculous offers (they offered 10 we wanted 15 ) lol

If there is no loan fee for Roma, no obligation to buy and the player's wages are also paid by Barca this is what I call a horror deal. But at least they got rid of him, for one season:lol:

Good luck to him.

I'll always be grateful for his match-winning 1-0 goal against Málaga last season.

We would've been 2 Points behind Real Madrid had it not been for Verminator.

We got first option on Kostas Manolas (25) as a part of Verma business, Transfermarkt lists him as centre defender only. Was there no younger RB at hand when they struck the deal? :pique:
