I believe he can be included at the expense of Tek. In Liga/Copa there are no issues, he can play.

When ter Stegen gets medical green light this will be a hot topic. We'll see how it pans out. Hopefully Flick isn't stupid regarding this.

In La liga, he can't even play without Barca fulfilling either of those two stringent conditions(read the La liga statutes on replaced players ). As stated, I am not familiar with Copa rules and I don't really care about it.

If he gets a medical green light, he can only be a distraction to the team with his personality. I dont think he will add any benefit.

I also believe Flick is more than capable of handling his tantrums as he has done with Pena.

With a little bit of luck, maybe Szczęsny gets to hold up the CL cup. And to that he'd come from the retirement. It would give him something to talk about with a grand kid on his lap.
At this point, I'd hate the World, if Stegen is deemed fit and replaces him in the final stage due to hierarchy, if nothing else. I hope not. But the World is cruel and life is tough, Pena knows that too for sure.
