I am not going to judge on any isolated instances. But I am confident in saying we’d have conceded a few more goals over last months if it wasn’t for him.

Don’t forget his well executed clearances rushing forward and close to no setpiece goals conceded.

Only the one where Araujo decided not to jump.

Ter Stegen was 1:1 in the league maybe but in CL it was like 1:10

Also, that's not true for Tek but I understand. What some people perceive a simple save, like those he collected against Benfica is a result of great positioning, concentration and reading of the game - something Ter Stegen severely lacks and most those shots he would place himself somewhere else and freeze while watching the ball go in

Not to speak of those simple crosses he intercepts which Ter Stegen would be watching scared to go at them

Tek is nothing spectacular, just a good goalkeeper but he's still miles clear of Ter Stegen who is a mediocre goalkeeper

Terrier hasn't been good on the ball for a while now. There basically no upsides to him in recent times. Maybe 1-v-1 stopping. Otherwise he concedes most of the decent free shots at goal and is non existent or even a detriment in dead ball situations.
