As much as Pena, who had 6 clean sheets through the season, in less games.

Sorry for ever doubting Szczesny... Pena was great too but there should be no questions asked about who starts. Don't think Pena should complain too much either, what's best for the team is best for him.

If Espanyol are relegated they might have to sell Joan Garcia for 15-20m.

If Tek continues to play well then it's a no-brainer to sell ter Stegen for whatever you can get in the summer considering his injury record + age and then get Joan Garcia + Tek for another year.

He was decent but had a moment he arrived miles out his box again and fumbled that shot which on another day goes badly.

Better than Pena and still getting sharper. Wasnt amazing here though.

Def the CBs are calmer with his experience behind them though and less chaos.

That might be the case, but he has looked pretty good whenever I've seen him.
Don't think we'll go for the more higher ceiling and costlier options anytime soon.

Szczęsny got the rhythm going. Good. That's all.
Everyone likes him until they don't. So better tone it down.

The way it always worked with him was that once the GK position was the least of worries, he did something dumb and everyone was in awe of how that happened.
Let's keep fingers crossed he'll remain solid till the end of May.
