There isn't any other young left back I'd rather have than him. Not even Mendes because of his injury record. The only left backs comparable are in their late 20s and prefer playing wing back.

His injury stalled his progress, but he has been improving steadily again and has been excellent since the turn of the year.

I'm content with him as our left back and Fort as cover. Believe in La Masia.
