The reason that cross connected is that Casado found him in space with a through ball. Same for Frenkie vs Madrid. When he gets it in a static position and tries to beat the fullback and cross he either hits the first defender or puts it out of bounds. That's his only idea. No cutbacks, no one-twos. Even Gerard Martin has more of an attacking IQ than him
