I'm of the minority here that likes Balde. Yes, his last play was dumb but he isn't afraid to take on 1v1's and doesn't pass it back 99% of the time. Today he was good imo, except the last play where his cross was poor.

Balde is definitely not great in this game. Teams literally funnel the ball to him because they know he isn't getting a great cross in. Those final plays of the game are perfect examples. Then Balde inevitably delivers wrong and the play ends.

He also is a backpass merchant. He has a lot of speed and dribbling which makes him decent in wide open games. Utterly useless in bus park games.

We need a super offensive LB that has great crossing. Think Grimaldo. He would help so much in these bus park games. Then continue using Balde in the more wide open games.
