There's a squad option there, but Flick doesn't fancy inverted fullbacks it seems.

Other than that, get Jofre into first team training dynamics ASAP and give him a shot versus Valladolid if he looks ready.

From what I've seen, it seemed like a back 3 of Inigo-Garcia-Kounde with FDJ dropping in and out at CB (libero role)

An unpopular opinion.
I think he is still salvageable. He just needs some confidence push from both coaches and other colleagues.

I will rather move Kounde to the left back and play Araujo as a RB than play Christensen on that position.

Christensen is a quality passer of the ball, great header at set pieces and pretty fast (34.5 km/hr top speed) + got CL championship win experience with Chelsea so if not use him as RB, would play him CB next to Cuba

Those are not inverted full back positions.
Inverted full backs does not mean using players with different favoutite legs at opposite positions.
