I dunno. What about Big Dunc.
or Robinho
What about them? Are players today supposed to be terrified of these fools?

Decided to have the surgery and miss the WC, nice to have a CB with a brain.
Should use the time during the WC when he will be healthy enough to work with Xavi on positioning and ball playing skills. This injury could benefit us long term if we survive October without him.
Youre what 13,14 years old? A huge reason players last longer these days is the refs protection. In the old days referees let players kick lumps out of each other. It's another reason why nowadays guys like Messi,CR7,Lewa and Haaland have such high scoring rates.R9 scored 34 in 37 from memory and that was considered phenomenal.
Players are faster, fitter and stronger today but are also less resilient.
People should replay some clips from 1990's in Serie A and uK. Defenders were butchers... Nowdays you can't even give a nudge with a shoulder and they are rollin on the grass like hit by a missle...
How much compensation do we receive when a player is injured on international duty? Are their salaries paid in full?
They should be.
Why do surgery? Just play the world cup kid its only once every 4 years
Not a doctor so don't know if surgery is the best solution for his injury (probably is) but it's a good news he won't put his longterm career in danger and force to play in the WC like Bumtiti.
Around 20k for every day he's missing. In his case just about enough to cover his wages.
