When he came to the Club and played his first game he struggled a lot with building out the back and even Puig got mad at him once for his bad panic passing in one game.
But he's come a long way since 2018, thanks to Pimienta. The man put a lot of faith in him and Araujo learned so much from him during his time with the B team.

That is based from that on video clip that the likes of youngcules twitter were trying to make out he was poor on ball and that pass was an attempted long ball when Puig wanted it short.
Never been amazing on ball but not as poor as they tried to make out and used to make out lacked pace as well...

Speaking of which I really need to unfollow that account at some point.
I believe that account is run by what 2-3 people? but the takes from a couple of those guys are just terrible.

I admit that their passion is admirable, but there takes is terrible.

They would have you believe that Monchu, Puig, Collado, Orellana, Araujo, Mingueza, Morer, Pena from last years team should all be in the first team squad and Pimentia should be first team coach... yet that team couldnt get promoted from what is 3/4th level of Spanish football.

Palencia, back then people wanted to give him a chance as he was doing well for the B team but he simply wasn't good enough as an option in the end. He was a hard worker and fought hard but that's all he had going for him sadly. He had an okay loan at Bordeaux but it wasn't enough to earn him a move there so he ended up at St Etienne where he played 9 games but later sent off to Leganes on loan who are in La Liga 2.
I was surprised at the Dani Morer takes, the guy at one point was 3rd choice behind the likes of Wague and Guillem Jaime in the B team. He put together a decent season and put together some good games and you had people who don't follow the B team that much watching him for the first time thinking "Wow this guy is good, he looks better than Semedo and Roberto". He left in the summer and joined Famalicao, only played 144 minutes all season, and the last game he played he got pulled off at HT.

It is the inability to differentiate between different levels of the game. A kid that is standout against his beers at certain age in Spain doesn't mean he will be standout against the whole world playing in Barca. Those names mentioned are all good footballers, but good footballer can be a wide term and without realizing the context, you will overrate a ton of prospects.
But what I can't get is support La Masia as an alumni that way, to the degree they are rooting that hard for Kubo to succeed and be superstar because he played in Barca (illegally) when he was 14
Never mind, supporting them against other players who are wearing Barca jerseys too, but not La Masia. It can feel like right wing statements at time.

He is still young and will learn from that mistake. Stupid from him, but things were going too good for a player that young and inexperienced.
