When he came to the Club and played his first game he struggled a lot with building out the back and even Puig got mad at him once for his bad panic passing in one game.Doesn't strike you as one of the 'naturals' who know ways to get around from early days. But he's got some great qualities, athletic, strong, fast. Hope he keeps learning.

But he's come a long way since 2018, thanks to Pimienta. The man put a lot of faith in him and Araujo learned so much from him during his time with the B team.
Speaking of which I really need to unfollow that account at some point. That is based from that on video clip that the likes of youngcules twitter were trying to make out he was poor on ball and that pass was an attempted long ball when Puig wanted it short.
Never been amazing on ball but not as poor as they tried to make out and used to make out lacked pace as well...

I believe that account is run by what 2-3 people? but the takes from a couple of those guys are just terrible.
Digging up their post history could end the account, really
Their calls are that bad
Palencia and Miranda come to mind
Wasn't there a guy here, on barcaforum, who run the site at the time?
I like him since that 2-8 drubbing
I got caught up in the Miranda hype, but it really looks like he isn't top tier LB material.Digging up their post history could end the account, really

Palencia, back then people wanted to give him a chance as he was doing well for the B team but he simply wasn't good enough as an option in the end. He was a hard worker and fought hard but that's all he had going for him sadly. He had an okay loan at Bordeaux but it wasn't enough to earn him a move there so he ended up at St Etienne where he played 9 games but later sent off to Leganes on loan who are in La Liga 2.
I was surprised at the Dani Morer takes, the guy at one point was 3rd choice behind the likes of Wague and Guillem Jaime in the B team. He put together a decent season and put together some good games and you had people who don't follow the B team that much watching him for the first time thinking "Wow this guy is good, he looks better than Semedo and Roberto". He left in the summer and joined Famalicao, only played 144 minutes all season, and the last game he played he got pulled off at HT.
