Can't have a physical defender who's a master on the ball as well. These things happen and I can let it slide.
If it happens again and again, I'll be more critical (ahem Lenglet).
He had a good game besides that huge mistake. As long as he learns from it and improves, I'll give him some slack. However, that kind of mistake should never ever happen again.

The actual problem with the present Barca is with creativity.
There are two and a half players with creative thinking. Obviously Messi, Dembele and occasionally the young Pedri, but he is too young to make the actual difference, specially that another creative one: Puig has slowly become the scapegoat in many regards.
These are the moments and particular mistakes that ALL players will remember at the age of 80.
Of course he will learn from it, because these mistakes teach a defender to be much more cautious and to concentrate by 200% higher.
He is good material, raw but promising.
Made a mistake that at the end fleeced 2 points away but it is definitely not him who would be the problem.

The problem is not the fact that someone makes a serious mistake and a mediocre team scores a goal at the Camp, but obviously it is the lack of goals up forward.
Messi is right: he has no real partners in this team and Griezmann should never ever play in this team...
I'd say more than individual creativity we have a problem with fluidity and positioning. For too few easy passing options out there compared with the top teams, because too many players don't move often enough and well enough off the ball.
Very often, if you look at our movement, a player only makes an approaching move or a positional adjustment to help out a teammate complete a good pass if that player gets in trouble. Normally, the move should happen before, to prevent players from being closed down and pressed in bad spots.
The Araujo mistake was like that. It was a technical and panic under pressure mistake, but it also happened because Pjanic passed him the ball without him having any escape option under pressure. Normally, the pass should've never gone to him in these circumstances. Pass it back to Stegen if you have to, but don't get a teammate in trouble, let alone an inexperienced defender.
