4 - Ronald Araújo

His agency doesn't have a single player in England.

I'd say with the added tax breaks when moving to Italy, that this deal to Juve would be heavily incentivized for Araujo both off the books and through the break to agree terms before any other clubs formal interest though.

If we look at Laporka's first term though, very bad at selling. So maybe it is just that, whatever it takes.

You don't need to even look it up, that these numbers are complete bullshit. Either the "Social Media journalists" have been played by some fake sources, which shows their true intelligence, or it's another weak attempt from Laporta's opposition to spread misinformation to make him look bad.
Every discussion about it is nothing more than a waste of time. €20m

He is a great defender and warrior. I like these kind of players who play with heart and dedication. But unfortunately I think you cant rely on him due to his injuries and his overall very risky style of play. Add this lets say... not on cleverness based approach... to the suicide high line Flick is playing and you get tons of problems and add even more problems to our defense.

Offer a swap trade with Crystal Palace for Huijsen. Get an asset. He's Ambidextrous/Spanish/Young. That works perfect.

Go to Spurs and swap deal for Van De Ven. Left footed/super fast great for high line/young

Nah let's cave to 25m instead. Let's not forget Girona offered like 15 for Eric Garcia.....come on guys.

*Obviously Araujo wouldn't agree to Crystal Palace or Spurs but you get the point.

**Also what's up with all of the non Spanish players bailing on Barca all the time? Maybe they are smart signing Spanish guys mainly
That Huijsen lad looks very promising. Think he will be wanted by a lot of clubs soon enough.

Maybe the sum is low because he has no other offer. He is poor on and the ball, gets injured a lot, his contract is up soon... plenty of warning signs for other teams. Only on Barcaforum he is seen as one of the best in the world. Don't think top EPL teams rate him that highly.

Still, 30m is too low. 50m would be better, but if he wants Juve, we are not in a good position to command the price. We can keep him and see in the summer, but if he gets injured again or makes big errors in top games, we might get nothing.

Would he funny though if he brings us less money than Yerry Mina .

Don't think that's true. There should be plenty of interest.
What we do know, however, Barca does get fucked over selling/loaning.

I would wager there is interest to sell him to particular club(s) and agents play a role and have too much influence on Laporta.

Get nothing for Araujo?

Wish Barca could scoop up araujos of this world for nothing.

If he doesn't extend you have next summer to sell him only basically, no? If something happens and he gets injured again, there's a good posibility to lose him for nothing. He might even fancy a bonus for him to sign in the winter of 2025 as free agent.

Madrid offered 15m GBP opening for Trent with 6 months left, 100/200 (forgot which) for Mbappe with 12 left.

If we talk about Juventus as closest example, they signed Kephren Thuram for 20m+5m in the Summer. 12 months left on contract. Is he worth the same as Araujo with 18m?

This doesn't explain why other teams don't want him. Demand dictates the price. If you'd have some top EPL teams interested, price would go up. Also, quite normal for teams to lowball us considering everyone knows our poor financial status.
