4 - Ronald Araújo

Everybody in the world knows Barca is the worst club in the world at selling players, why would they offer more if they don't have to?

We'll get like 5-10 mil more for Araujo than we would get for Eric lol. Another good job by the club, we're unstoppable! All hail king Laporta!

We should take the risk and keep him until the summer. But to do this, you have to accept the possibility of losing 30m. Araujo is making it difficult for us.

This doesn't explain why other teams don't want him. Demand dictates the price. If you'd have some top EPL teams interested, price would go up. Also, quite normal for teams to lowball us considering everyone knows our poor financial status.

We don't know that no one else is interested.

-Aston Villa linked in May
-Bayern Munich strongly linked in Summer until injury
-Man U and Chelsea linked last October
-Arsenal linked this January

The rumours suggest more than Juve are or would be interested. Just that this is the only strong link, leaked by Italian sources, potentially to pressure our clubs offer to increase more than anything.

We can safely deduct that no club would prefer to sell for a low offer unless a) there's not a better one on the table, or b) the player only wants to go to the club that submitted that subpar offer.

Either way, if he gets sold for lower money, I think either a) or b) happened. A c) where we have better offers but somehow we want to sell for less makes no sense.

What does linked mean? Media reports? As far as we know (or can deduct), the only concrete offer is from Juventus. There's a difference between media speculations and actual real offers.

If another club comes in and submits a 50m offer, no doubt the club will do anything possible to convince Araujo to join the club that put in the better bid. Unless we are a masochistic club that dislikes money.

Not been a fan of this low IQ clown ever since the PSG debacle.

Good player but a total clown in the big moments/ especially off the pitch.

Never trust a bozo who dyes his hair pink

Me neither. I mean he is strong when fit, but poor or mediocre in many areas, and good teams will look to exploit this. PSG match exposed him in a high pressure situation. He is a good player, but not a great one.

He is also not suited to Flick's approach, as it demands a lot of technical quality on the ball. You fuck up on the ball and there's no one to fix it up as players will be in advanced positions in build up.

He'd do well at an Atletico type team that defends deeper and doesn't use defenders in build-up as much. Juventus, Inter are a good fit for him. Suits Serie A, not so much EPL.

He'b be unsellable for me if he was at least trustable on the ball, but he is not and will never be. Also add his injuries to the list and you could see Tah is seen as his replacement by the club.
