It would but they’re similar profiles imo. If 2016/17 Umtiti was paired with him they’d be unbelievable. Saw glimpses other day, was very impressed.

Yeah, he should be paired with the ball playing CB as he himself is not secure at this (but not shabby either). If Umtity can get his shit back, this could be one of the best CB pairing in the World. If not, then he needs another clever, but NOT slow CB to accompany him.
