4 - Ronald Araújo

Horatio

You're welcome
I thought he looked shaky a few times yesterday. I am putting a lot of faith in this guys mentality. I think he can make it.

And yeah, always said de Ligt is getting slightly overrated but he is still ahead of Araujo. Latter could surpass him who knows.

At the worst case we should be able to establish his value and sell him a few seasons down the line if his footwork is too detrimental to our style.

Especially if he can cement in a starting spot in the national team.

The only hope - Araujo the Lewa destroyer.

Even I could kick, scream and punch like a child when things don't go my way.
I try to be more constructive and act like an adult though.

Roberto Carlos said a memorable thing in his late Madrid years about what happens when you punch a table - your hand hurts and you might destroy your table.
Let us see what Araujo can do when he is on the pitch.

At least he’s shown a bit of passion all whilst his supposed top class teammates were putting in an utterly pathetic showing on the pitch. Shame we didn’t have more of that fire and intensity out there at the time.

Who is the guy nearest the camera?

Collado? Trincao?

Araujo reaction was good, but he still has some way to go...

His "passion" is easy as fuck to show.
What matters is what he does on the pitch. It is true that he was supposed to be worse than the ones on the pitch that night, let's see what he does tonight when he'll probably play.
It won't depend on his "fire" or the intensity in his stare, but on him being positionally good and making good decisions.
