That's too small minded to say from the moment you know we cannot rely anymore on him. Its easy to understand that he won't be healthy anymore and as the time passes he gets injured more and more often. The injuries are effect of inconsistensy so you can't wait him performing well in most of the games.. His presence and leadership is needed on big games thought, but at some point we need to learn living without it..

Sadly, Puyol will get injured again after 4-5 matches. The only good thing to come from that is that the naive idiot that thought it was a good idea to not buy a new CB will hopefully get his ass handed to him.

I love how everybody knows he'll get injured in the first couple of games. So many fortune tellers on this forum. I'd rather have Puyol next to Piqué than Mascherano.

Who wouldn't? but its not about the first games, its a general opinion. We cannot rely anymore in him knowing his injury record. The point is we shouldn't just stay there hoping that Puyol won't get injured.

That's not my point I know that Puyol is not the man who's going to get us through an entire season. My point is that all people are writing him off when he's arguably the second best defender we have at the club. So annoying, especially if you consider how much of a legend Puyol is.. so disrespectful to talk about him this way.

Nobody said anything bad or unrealistic about him. Every user on this forum knows that Puyol is a legend and respects him. He is 35 years old and had 33 injuries so far in his career. Him getting another injury is verry probable , it has nothing to do with respect . What attitude would you prefer us having ? An unrealistic one ?

He´s not realiable. When was the last season he was 1-2 months injury free?
