Can't believe Tata said they'll bring a CB in the winter. Why not in the summer that past ?

Tata said that? Well, at least he said they're bringing one in. Better late than never.

I actually think if Puyol managers to stay healthy, we can hold out until the winter window just fine. Puyol even at 85% is better than what we've been working with for a while. I'm sure Tata will be smart with the rotations to protect the players and keep them fresh for the later stages of the season and the CL next year.

Plus it's not just physical football skill that Puyol brings to the table. I think the attitude and intensity he brings as our Captain is invaluable. I remember last season when he came back, I felt I noticed a distinct increase in our energy level. When he's there we just seem more on point, hard to put a finger on it but I think that's what makes him such a great captain... makes the whole team play better.

Yep but I really cannot hope that much as to think Puyi won't get seriously injured again till the the winter break arrives...

I'd sign Puyi for life but he is already way too old thus injury prone to count on him as our main CB !

Assuming that he stays healthy for a good while when he returns... I think he will be IMMENSE for us when he comes back. I'm not expecting miracles... but it will be a BIG improvement any way you look at it. His experience and his heart and just who he is... his leadership... going to be a HUGE boost... will definitely hold us over well until winter.
