The Atletico game is too important to play a player, especially a defender, right after injury....If we are winning safely then he can come for the last few minutes.

Puyol knows himself that the needs of the team come before his own personal situation. He more than anybody embodies the "team first, individuals second" mantra.

If he doesn't get on, I'd love to see his farewell be the Gamper game in pre-season. A game against Milan would be a fitting end.

Good to know that he's retiring in our club. Best decision in my opinion… so Capita can stay at the club and yell at the youngsters.
Would love to see him in the coaching staff.

Hopefully he does join Luis Enrique's staff, I think it could make a big difference.

Puyol had first planned to look for another club after leaving club, but he has now changed his mind and he will end his career. [catradio]
