5 - Iñigo Martínez

Id still not renew him and go for VVD

But yeah, incredible level and objectively deserves to stay around another year.

Thing is centrebacks are so weird. We won the treble with Pique-Marquez with Puyi benched (injury). Then Marquez wasn't starter the season after and fell off a bit.

Pep at City routinely has a CB partnership from one season change the next.

So it's a position where when one is having a great season, you stick with it until it breaks. But there's no guarantee the level carries through to the next.

So just enjoy Inigo for what he is giving us right now, without getting attached.

I think Christensen under Xavi first year was at a higher level for example.

Christensen under Xavi was world class, our most consistently good player that season.

I'm the opposite, I would boot him in the summer even though he's been great and bring out boy back from France lol.

Or maybe it's better to boot Christensen who can't seem to stay fit.

Idk what I do know is one of

Garcia
Martin
Christensen
Araujo
Even kounde

Should be sold in the summer, no one is safe, bar Cubarsi.

Getting Tah for free will be no brainer.

Getting rid of Christensen who has some resell value is not bad option.

Keep Inigo for season and we are good.

Sell Kounde? And than bring in Kimmich? Are you high?

Will be a brainer, he's fat and old and is meh - thought you guys wanted us to get better?

A chronically injured Christensen has no resale value unless sth major changes. Don't know if possible in his case.

Cubarsi is guaranteed a spot at this point, but who knows how Christensen or Araujo return.
They both get injured or in trouble to often.

Jami bro!....at this rate, I strongly advise you take a break from football or anything close to it.

...and take this from a brother who used to regard your views many years back.

Neymar Jr?

I'm trying real hard not to school Zenl, because he's a solid dude.

While you're a fake barca fan so not worth my time, no wonder you left us for PSG.

RELAX.

Well I don't watch much Leverkusen, but they play really highline, they made great success and we play simmular way here.

He is not on fat contract, he is good player and also not injured like Christensen.

Also Flick knows him, and can be deciding factor between us and Bayern.

Cubari, Araujo, Tah, Kounde and Inigo for next season is more then enough.

This leaves space for selling Christensen and Garcia.

I usually agree with your opinions and you're also a solid dude and real cule - but Tah and Kimmich man, nah. Kimmich will be 31 next summer, he's on crazy wage today and if he'll walk for free he'll want an even higher wage probably - also, he hasn't really been THAT good last 2 seasons... why bother? He wouldn't do any better than Casado, would take time to adapt in Spain etc. Right now we have the best midfield in the world and Masia keeps producing amazing midfielders - this season already we could see Prim and Bernal next season. You talk about experience... Casado has this season under the belt and he was one of the most important and best players against Bayern - he'll most probably boss Real Mierdid also. So no, no thanks. He's also not a cule AT ALL, we need players like Raphinha and like Lewa - they dreamed of playing for Barca since they were kids, that really makes a difference to push harder when you play with your heart.
And Tah? He would make more sense - 2 years younger and we could probably negotiate maybe even less than half the wage Kimmich would ask. But for what, as backup? He also would take time to adapt since he also just played in Germany. Again, no thanks.
