Yes but those were also very good. I would be happy with a combination of either of them like we see know with Cubarsi and Inigo. But can't see it last until december when Araujo/Christensen return and the drop of to Dominguez is big.

Barca needs more players like him. Crazy considering he came for free, should promote the one who signed him to head scout and fire all the others.

He's been good so far and I think he's the leader at the back for when to push up to satisfy Flick's high line. I think that's the qulity that Flick rates the most currently. Araujo for example could probably not be that leader.

At the same time he hasn't really been tested against top opposition, same as how Cubarsi also been very solid. They are doing their jobs basically. I'll wait until October ends before the redemption claims.

There is actually a chance that Barca loses a lot replacing Inigo with Araujo. They are largely unpressable from the back with Cubarsi and Inigo. Araujo will improve overall defending but with Cubarsi next to him teams will force the ball to Araujo to cause mistakes.

It will be very interesting.

Yeah, I don’t agree @Masetro10

I think the perfect pair in central defense is Pau on that left side (we haven’t profited enough from Cubarsi’s ability to find attacking players like we know he is capable with that left of his). And Araujo? I think he is much more dynamic a defender

However, I can acknowledge I was wrong about Iñigo - I really only saw him as depth but he still brings quite a bit as the LCB…especially in a high line

Not to take anything from Inigo but it helps to have 1 or 2 absolute predators infront of him. Casado is it. Eric as well has been 100% determination and dedication.

All for one and one for all
