Is in a coincidence that the biggest gavi haters or also the biggest de jong fan boys?
They running scared of a 19 year old, lol.
He's more top4 level Laliga player, if not Barcelona level yet.I'm no Gavi hater. Just don't think he's near the level made out. He could have a very good future as a top player if his skills are honed and areas he's poor in are improved, just like any youngster... Until that happens he's only as good as what he is, he's an ok la liga level player, which is no insult at his age.
People projecting what they think the future version of Gavi will be on the current version. Not only is that unfair on him (who are the haters now?), it's idiotic.
Is being an ok level la liga player an insult? He's 19, that's a very good level to be at his age. And over the season if you average out how he plays that's the level he's been at. But it's all or nothing with you lot. Either have to blow smoke up his arse or you're a hater.„Ok La Liga level player“ xD but not a hater
He’s playing very well this season and carries most of the workload due to Pedri and even Frenkie being out for months this season and last.
We played very well for 60 mins and then ran into the dilemma to either play on with tired legs or bring on Romeu while Madrid subbed Cama and Modric. But it’s on Xavi and Gavi
???‘Tired legs’…
The one who looked the most off it in 2nd half was Gavi… he the one that had the tired legs?
Poor excuse.. Romeu/Lewa had worse ‘legs’ than players they replaced and Raphinha looked same compared to Cancelo.
Top 4 bench level I'd agree with or regular mid table starting level (ok level). No shame in that. Agree his intensity and fight is great although needs to learn a bit more how to use that at the right time to not allow space to open for opponents. Better tactical setup might mean other mids plug gaps as he goes hunting though so not necessarily all on him. He's more top4 level Laliga player, if not Barcelona level yet.
His main strength is his physical conditioning, that is, he can play repeated games with a very high intensity and not be injured/not drop off too much. He presses very intensely and has an extremely good engine, despite not showing so much on the ball these days.
So you can always rely on him for a 6/10, or most of the time anyway, and know that you won't have to change him out too much for fatigue or injuries.
He's a useful player for Barcelona but probably shouldn't be a starter at this moment.
