6 - Gavi

I'm curious to see how long it will take before his aggressive side shows again on the pitch. We saw with Ansu's injury that it got totally blown away.
At the same time Gavi could have a big help from being aggressive minded in the first place, that he will return in full force without problems.

Ansu got tame after his 3rd or 4th injury. It's Gavi's first, so I'm not worried about it at all.

I've seen Gavi dive head first towards the ground to try to win the ball with his head as opponent boots are sizing up the kick for me to worry about him losing his aggression hahahaha
Seriously though, I think thankfully Gavi is a midfielder who doesn't really need rely on pace. This may actually help him develop his non-attacking passing skills a bit more.

Did anyone here ever play around with the player creator on FIFA and put the pace to 1?

I imagine that's how Gavi will be when he comes back

That there is the prime reason I don't go on twitter. Not funny in the slightest. Would be just as unfunny if a Barca fan did it about Madrid players.

The truth is this guy is not even trying to be funny. The 'humour' is just a guise in order for him to exercise his ill will towards his object of hate. Which is pretty much 95 percent of what comments on Twitter consist of anyway.

I was too embarassed to ask what the joke was in that image.

The thing is: if it is about criticizing gavi’s level in comparison to madrid midfielders, what is Tchou doing there? I had high expectations of him but hasn’t been exactly stellar for madrid. That’s what had me confused.

No two injuries are exactly the same, nor can their recoveries. Moreover, in meniscus tears it matters on location & type of tear before even getting to type of repair

Ansu's injury to the medial meniscus was initially repaired/sutured but ultimately it was removed and this has everything to do with the lack of burst the player can no longer exploit - none of these things are the same with Gavi

Gavi's was the lateral meniscus and the ACL - ACL's are rather straightforward to repair while lateral tear repairs are shown to have statistically better prognosis than those of medial.

Gavi had a nasty injury but he is not facing same injury or potential change to the attributes that make his game special

They missed him so badly!

He's the one guy that could have coped with the red card.

With him on the field, Barca would manage to get through with 10 men easily.

Missing his stamina, energy, grit and shithousery.

He's so much more important than people realise. Absolutely crucial in big European ties.
