I think he knows that in reality... hence why tries to make up for it in other ways but needs to calm that and get back to football as he looked last night.

The way he speaks about Pedri and De Jong he knows how good they are.

I was reading on barca universe that this development this season relating to coming back from his injury is all apart of the coaching staff plan.

I don't remember any quotes in that article though so they could just be talking.

Either way, i haven't commented on his performance, because he's gavi, he will be one of the leading midfielders of his generation.

ACL injuries are a 18-24 months recovery injury.

We'll see him be that guy again around January 2026.

He came back very strong from his injury, but that's just gavi being gavi, after the initial high, the recovery needed was always going to catch up with him.

Like flick said, he will for sure be at the 2026 WC, he just needs time.
