7 - Ferran Torres

Not sure what is going on with Xavi and these shit tactics. It's quite obvious he's instructing at least one winger, if not both, to hug the sideline to create width. Our fullback should be doing this...to make room for our wingers, especially Torres since one of his only good qualities is making runs into the box. Dembele and Dest should be alternating making runs down the sideline to keep the right side guessing. He's making it easy to defend against us...

I think that just might be Xavi's philosophy. Even before he took the Barca job, he has spoken in past interviews about wanting wingers to stay wide.

It's fine wanting wingers to stay wide but Ferran is not that type of player so Xavi shouldn't have requested to sign him in that case.

Torres will never be one to set up in way to beat men wide and get ball in.

He needs a FB to take width and go round him if gets ball wide and at other times take width to allow him to get centrally.

No point signing him to play like today and he was shite within that.

It's not about tactics. He came to a club that needed him to be decisive and produce the goods. And he isn't that player. We've been scammed.

At City he didn't have the pressure as he wasn't a starter, plus he was rolling with the best squad in the league.
