I'm sure Simeone would love that. Carrasco contract is up in a year.
Deal is fine if it is Ferran on loan in exchange of Carrasco signing for us on free. Anything else and Xavi can wait for a year.

Cant see how it is even possible to swap them without taking a loss on the books.
They would probably need to value both at 40m odd and sign Carrasco to a 5 year contract.

Barca will probably try to break even as much as can on Torres this season and take the savings in future seasons.
The 25m fee if sold on next seasons books would put his sale at no loss when take his salary into account. Then save around 16m a season on FFP in each of next few as la liga now take future seasons into account.
Balanced out by selling Fati/Abde who would get pure profit on this summer but less of a saving in future season as did not have same cost on the books.

Way Gavi has been playing, and Ansu too, we might aswell give Ferran another chance at that AML slot.
Stats wise, as good or better than Carrasco this year. Ofc, if Xavi wants someone to dribble on the wing then worlds apart. But ideally the AML is an interior forward with Balde there to give width.
But half the time I don't know what our idea is offensively.
