He had a somewhat decent game, but it became shite the moment he got our 3-2 goal called off. Actually, decent is pushing it, he was mediocre even without that fuck-up. Remember his first touch when 1 vs 1 with the keeper?

He's a decent bench player. That's it. Could never be a starter if we plan to win things.

Yeah, he is one of those guys who should play well across the offensive line, but doesn't or rather can't consistently, or when he has expectation to.

Probably a mental thing.

I mean, I take solace in the fact that Griezmann couldn't perform here either. A player that should have ability wise.

But for us he was like Torres, when he had a chance you just knew he would miss it, and Griezmann knew he would too.

So in the end Torres is not a bad player, far from it. And even in today's market 60m isn't a huge write off for what he has shown really.
