In truth this is close to how we should set up Messi, and if we do I don't think we will be complaining. Liverpool found it worked with PC too.

That said, I don't think there is room for Messi and Coutinho and one is the greatest and the other is just a very good player in the right situation.

Yes, he was sort of nothing special, but you should look at his confidence, which is nothing like when he plays for your te amo team.
That in itself is a considerable change...

Going by some of the comments here. . . It's going to be very difficult convincing any player to join Barca.
We all know deep inside, that prior to joining us Coutinho was a superb player, and that Valverde has now ruined him.
....But rather than fix the issue, by getting rid of that fossil of a coach, we want to keep selling and buying. An eternal cycle that will last for as long as EV remain coach.
