What will make Liverpool shift their stance?

After the last offer they rejected was then withdrawn, what will make them change their mind to, ah, go on then, we'll sell?

Klopp is supposedly ok with him leaving it's just the owners who are playing hardball - presumably to get as much money out of us as possible !?!

Cou needs to make one last push to leave, by way of a statement of some sort to FSG. Outside of him, there really isn't any other readily available options for us in midfield at this time.

Well, reading the Liverpool based media here's the rub...

The problem all stems around this. Countinho talked to Klopp at the end of the season and said he was staying. Klopp is said to have planned around this, and Countinho started a new contract on July 1st

Thus, when he decided to go back on his word a few weeks later, Klopp was pissed and said sorry, that's not what we agreed. Klopp seems to be a man of his word, and he expects the same back.

From his history, Klopp always lets a player go when they want to, but he gave his word he was staying, that's the issue.

The board should have moved for him weeks earlier, that's the issue, that's why there's not going to be a sale. He would have been for sale at the right time....

150M if needed. Fuck it. The heir of Iniesta and a incredible boost to the midfield. Only 25 years. Amazing player, versatile, goals and assists, great fire power from downtown and he plays best in great games.

Sell Gomes and others to raise some cash.

We had 222+ summers budget. Around 320M.
