He has no leverage for months, ever since he signed the contract. His only "leverage" is to leak out to press that he is extremely down, that he is ready not to play in CL, that his moral is low, that he and his family want transfer etc. And then Barca comes puts 100m+30/40 in variables and Liverpool says enough of this shit gtfo.

It most likely won't happen, but he is trying to force them to sell him.

Messi has the most goals outside the box since 2015/2016 (15 goals) followed by Coutinho and others (at 10 goals), but I get what you mean. Coutinho's longshots will be an invaluable asset when playing against closed teams, which we do all the time.
