And no, Countinho might have some flashy goals, but he is neither consistent, nor particularly exceptionally talented in any area. He is on the same bar as these players, whether you prefer him to them is personal choice.

Liverpool have almost the same amount of revenue as Chelsea. Coutinho is a star and starter for a very rich club. 90m is the least we should expect. Mkhytarian had a year left on his contract by the way.

Players from Leipzig and Nice will naturally be less expensive than players from a very rich team like Liverpool! That should go without saying.

He has played AM from the left or centre. Even CM more than he has played the role Neymar does.

It's time like these that you regret that the club didn't have the foresight to keep Thiago or sign kroos now we are trying to find a midfielder, is a market where there isn't many WC ones, probably 1 maybe 2.

Transfers over the last 3 seasons, outside of a few highlights have been absolute garbage.

Although again I feel like signing Coutinho and pairing him with Rakitic/Gomes will be a disaster. We need both midfielders to be good on the ball.

We can't have one technically strong player mixed with one defensively strong player. It won't work.
