There is no improvemen over Iniesta. I can not think of a player (other than Messi), that can pick passes like that. Coutinho may be younger and faster, but no way in hell he can pass like Iniesta, even at 33.

But since we need to replace him, we should look at Fekir, Lemar, Eriksen and Jorginho and get two of them.

Last two are good options for mf, but very difficult to purchase. I agree, that Coutinho is overpriced, but i think these two would not come any cheeper, considering where they are playing now.
Perhaps Coutinho is more adaptable to different positions onthe pitch, which is a good bonus to have.

Correct , theres no-one anywhere near Iniesta in todays game. Coutinho will never fit in our side and will be another disaster of a signing , guy is nowhere near good enough just like so many of our signings over the last few years. Don't know who is out there but money should not be wasted on this guy.
