Are you saying what I think you're saying? That Farto & co. pulled a hail-mary with Paulinho and hit the jackpot both on and off the field? If that is the case, good sir, I concur!

This board is still shit, though. But what a genius stumble it can turn out to be, in hindsight.

A. Buys Paulinho who is a dinosaur in China and flopped in Tottenham 3 years ago.
B. Paulinho proves to be a dinosaur alright, going into beast-mode from day one.
3. Have Paulinho bring in his name-brother (ish?) by beautiful, well-timed tapping up.
IV. Buy Coutinho in January.
E. Watch Coutinho and Dembouz win the Ballon D'Or in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 interchangeably.


Regarding the nike-store leak, it seems legit. I'm a skeptic by nature, but I am 54 % sure that Coutinho is a Barca-player come January 2018!

Makes sense trying to tie up him before the WC where is price could skyrocket, but signing him while he won't be able to play in the CL doesn't add up, imagine if we win it, he would be gutted

While that's true, he'll also get a chance to help the team seal up the league title and win the cup. He's never won a trophy with Liverpool and unlikely to win anything this year as well.

If that happens, I imagine he'll just be extra motivated next season to play a part in winning it himself.

But I agree. Makes most sense to add him to the squad in the summer, but I'll take him now too. Gives a chance for us to properly rest Iniesta for the CL. :lol:

Let's assume this is all real and not some hack job.

Dembele is suppose to be back in early January, and we sign Coutinho in January and there's talk of Dembele being like a new transfer in January, Barcelona finally got it's two men and both will be presented together in January.

I'm going to guess that some dev had it ready to go in the event a deal happened during the window, and Nike just messed up and included it in the website release.

Well to be fair Coutinho is a Nike sponsored player, and not only that we are also Nike's highest paid Football team in the world thanks to that kit deal we just signed not to long ago.

Coutinho to Barca would be a big deal to them and it wouldn't be all that surprising they would be in the know as they are the ones that would prep the marketing promotions and surrounding Coutinho's big move to Barcelona.
