We won't realistically get any updates because I believe the only thing left to do is: nothing happens till September 1 when it's all over OR transfer is announced.

Both Coutinho and Dembele seem on strike, pushing for the move and the ladder has been publicly sanctioned, not sure about Philippe, but internally there must be some upsets over there regarding him.

Coutinho has reported back for training. The failure of getting Van Dijk and Keita because of their so-called clubs ambition won't let FSG sell Coutinho this summer at least. Better to look for Plan B

Poor guy probably bought the shirt after reading some of MD's propaganda today. LMAO.

You guys want Coutinho and I'm telling you this as a huge Coutinho fan.

But looking at this real-barca game now and he wouldn't get a kick at Real and I say that as somebody who rates him extremely highly.

So 100m-130m spending on Coutinho imo still won't close the midfield gap to Real.

Very true. The midfield gap is to be closed in years, not this current window. We need to adapt to change and get our La Masia products minutes on the pitch to truly develop and stabilize. Alena, Samper (who is now off due to Paulinho) are great talents with potential; but they need to be nurtured if they are to have an impact.

Good.

Hopefully we dont get Dembele either. We need to sell messi for 300m and then rebuilt our team with 600m in pocket.

Coutinho would fix many things, the fact that we won't just jump to beat real immediately is something else, we couldn't beat real after starting with Suarez despite lining up MSN in the first ever match, but 1 year later we destroyed them on Bernabeu, and yeah, they were using this midfield, and yeah, no Messi in the first hour.
