I thought Pedri was awful and we should not play him and the fact that he is young doesnt justify his bad performances and lack of creativity and horrible finishing. I see the tonality here changed once again and he is back to being looked at as a wonderful talent

The "tonality" here of him being shit were just the loudest few, who have zero patience or perspective - like you.

To the more interesting stuff (Xavi talking about Pedri):
"He has an extraordinary level, he is a surprise, he is already a mature player, a top player at 18 years old. But we have to tell him that in situations where he has to dare, he has to dare, because we often make the player blush. In the three-quarter area you have to dare. And footballers tend to go for the easy stuff," Xavi said of Pedri, before going on to praise his good friend Sergio Busquets.

Pretty much the main criticism most here (myself included) have about him. He needs to be more decisive. Like he was for Las Palmas.

He did some flashy things in the beginning but later he changed his play. Pretty sure that's how Barca want him to play.

Do you have a link for that interview?

I think in that quote there are things not said that are more interesting than what is said... But I mostly agree with Xavi there, adding though that he was a lot more (too much) daring at the start of the season. It's balance work that a young player can't be expected to nail perfectly - he will surely improve, and more so under the right guidance. As I said many times, I think the overwhelming trust he got from Koeman isn't helping him.

Dembele said in an interview: "" When I ran ahead, the players asked me not to rush. "" There is a lot we don't know.

Pedri is obviously incredible for his age. But this cannot be the final product. It often is for players.

He has to improve on a lot of things I hope he does.

There is talent, and there is mindset and attitude. Pedri has the talent and time will tell if he has the right attitude. Messi is a great example of a player with abnormally great attitude, year over year he kept improving probably until late 20s when he stagnated

Watch his movements and responsibilities he takes among himself and calmness and decision making in a very very very sensitive area in the field where we have seen time after time Messi and Dembele cause dangerous counter attacks because they lose the ball there .. and then remind yourself that this is his first season in Barcelona and he is only 18 and was 17 in the first half of the season. Then and only then hopefully you will understand how tremendously lucky we are at Barca to have such a player in our team. We dont know what the future holds for Pedri, but we cannot have asked for a better indications in a youth player
