In the current market, 85 million is not a lot of money. If they plus beyond 100 million, than yeah. Of course, we have to use that money wisely, which is a big IF.

no thanks chief.

If they give us 100 mil , we'll spend like 70-80 mil on fucking Olmo or other trash players so what's the fucking point of that.

Pedri needs to be protected at all costs.

Big test for him against Bayern. Whether he can assert himself as a persistent presence under real pressure is still a big question mark for me.

Would like to see him take more shots/attack goal a bit more often. Things are different now, we don't have a MSN type attack anymore so the midfield has to step up with more goals. Can't expect Depay alone to win games.

Depends how often it even gets to him and what options there when under pressure.

"How often it gets to him" is not an exogenous variable. It is as much a result of his ability as anything else. It is of course not only up to him how much he gets the ball, but nothing in a game is only up to you. There are always external pressures, it's up to the player to deal with them.

Unrealistic expectations, lol. The best no. 8s in Europe aren't even regular goalscorers. Even KdB in his best ever season in the PL wasn't a regular goalscorer. Modric in his absolute prime scored like 3 goals a season lol. The ones that do score goals consistently (Dele from 3-4 years ago, Bruno, Gundogan) function in the final third as much as they function in midfield. Quasi midfielder/forward types. Pedri isn't that, and even worse...he's 18. You're expecting way too much from him. Even 2 goals would be a good season for a player in his position.

If Barcelona needs more goals, get better forwards. It's the only solution.

Can't expect Pedri will bang lot of goals for you. Not only his shooting ability is weak, his position also is not for goal scoring. If he manages to score like 5, 6 goals in Liga then it is already a big feat.

To think of it, Xavi scored 15 goals in all comps 2011/12 season which is impressive.

Have you ever watched an 18 year old as good as Musiala?

Nagelsmann (Bayern manager): "In my team? Never. But there are other players at other clubs. Pedri, for example, I think he's 18. " https://t.co/hHqU46hiNQ

"As good as" isn't the same as saying they have the same attributes.

Jamal's closer to Hazard, Sancho, and Sane in his role as a player than he is to Pedro or any other centre midfield position.

Nah dont agree.

If he is there to try and get between lines of midfield and front three and likes of Busquets is hiding and playing as third CB while opposition play a high line it absolutely matters where and when he gets the ball as to the impact he can have.
