8 - Pedri

I don't think he will automaticlly be a starter when he returns. Busi and FDJ are set in stone and Gavi/Nico are playing really well. He could play on the left wing more.

Pedri actually played RW at times for Las Palmas. Probably the most likely solution if Ansu and Memphis are fit and Dembele on his way out.

Some of you have too high hopes for Alves.

Just two weeks for us to get a hint about where Alves is at!
Pedri played RM against RM last year too, as well as other games.

Tru but what of the RW? I wouldn't put Ansu there to shoehorn Pedri in.

Dembele, Dest and Abde- unless we can find someone in winter.

If Xavi persists with wingbacks, which I personally hope not bar the sporadic match where we're in need of a comeback (eg PSG away) and want to control the ball with added risk in breaks, then Alves is also an option.

I don't think Pedri has the pace to create anything bar cutbacks at RW. He also played there in the u17 world cup, and although he has developed alot since then, he was completely shutdown and ineffective.
