He isnt Barcas best player and wasnt even yesterday.
How can anyone watch FDJ and Gundo yesterday and make out Pedri was better is beyond me.
He had some nice flicks and moves that were not doing all that much.
It is clear FDJ is ahead of Pedri and importance to team and by a long long way when both played this season.
Pedri could be better than him one day if impacts game more but not now.
Was better yesterday than has been other games this season though. Been fairly poor in minutes this season but never really got going.

He was okay, nothing special.
But he has magic in his feet.
Yea de jong has been better and has been more important this season, that's obvious, pedri has barely kicked a ball this season.
He is the best and most important player in our squad when fit and available.
Has he's shown for years now, came up with how many winning goals and assists for our first title in 4 years last season?.
At their best no one who isn't a de jong fan boy would say de Jong is better than Pedri, not even close really.

Many Barca fans have said he was best player when came on yesterday... which just wasnt the case. Look online.
No loss at all or a strawman.. learn what that means.

Wish he played to felix when he had that gaping space instead of stalling for time at 1:30. We were up 1-0 or 2-0 by then? Can’t remember. Probably instructed by coach to stall though.
Wish he had a tad more pace. Think he would be more of a direct player instead of trying to draw opponents cause he knows his limitations.
Happy to have it him at barca regardless.

Frenkie out last season wa smuch more important... out for few games in second half of season... dropped points to no marks and lost to worst home result in 15 years v Real.
With Pedri out and FDJ in... Barca beat Real twice with him best player both times and extended lead at top of league.
There are stats showing the results without FDJ the past two seasons...
Pedri got 7 goal contributions from AM last season.. a few tap ins and wasnt even most important player in any of those games.
Without Pedri Barca extended lead in league and won in it.. that is a fact. Beating Real and Atletico without him starting etc.
Lets play that game... Barca without Ferran would be out of CL this season! And thats a fact!

Nah Gavi when asked to play without the other lads was struggling v no marks and being given run around in wort defeat to Real at home in 15 years.

He has Joga Bonito in him.
Gundogan has like 11 G+A while playing somewhat deeper. Xavi uses Pedri as an AM or a 10 this season. Xavi always asks him to get 10 goals and 10 assists.
So it's not like the team don't set up for midfielders to get goals.
