8 - Pedri

He's himself pointed out what he has to improve and he's been correct on that. Problem is that nothing is happening in regards to development. He's not any more decisive in the final third than he was a year ago.

Would he thrive in another system? Has he reached his ceiling? Questions we'll have to wait to answer.

Try as a player might, you cannot demonstrate what you are good at if the system you're placed in doesn't allow you to do it.

Evidently the tactics don't allow him and Gavi much movement or freedom and they have clearly been instructed to hold position, very rarely do you see either one of them attack the box. He's also got a partner in Gavi who in all honesty he shares very little chemistry with and they don't complement each other much.

No Puig there as competition for his place and to push him further and potentially replace him has caused this.....

Wtf you on about? Puig was already better then Pedri and was on track to become better than Xavi himself. It was xavi's jealousy that prevented puig from flourishing and taking barca back to the top.

Tbf that'd explain Xavi's constant boner for the likes of Ferran and Busquets.

Would've been better for Puig to go to a Benfica, but even at LA Galaxy he's been able to develop significantly. If he hadn't left Barca Xavi would've been yelling at him for making through passes instead of playing side and back pass keepaway. He would've been stunted staying here just like Ansu Fati.

Sadly for Puig the likes fo Benfica would be nowhere near looking at shite like him as a signing.

There is a reason Puig ended up in MLS on a free transfer... no club wanted the cunt that had any level.

How often does a top club write in a buy back clause or a 50% of future transfer for a player they let go free? I honestly don't know but surprised if that's common and if not then Alemany was smart and skeptical enough to hedge Xavi's skullduggery.

Haha aye free with 50% clause is the type of fee decent players go for.

The guys a dud and no decent club wanted him.

Amazing you were a Barca fan during golden years, you hate elite talent that's free, artistic, and fearless. Maybe if Puig visibly suffered on the pitch the way Argentina players did and stated such during WC you'd like him, typical Judeo-Christian upbringing, pretty sure that's a small part why Xavi wanted him out too.

Haha aye hate such huge talents that end up in MLS as cant get anyone to pay money for him.

Top stuff.

Maybe he could have played in cup tomorrow and be taken off early with team not winning and him being shite as he was v these small teams every time.

'Amazing'.
